Terms & Conditions

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Any additional decorating beyond standard icing work (such as painting, sugar, sprinkles, glitter, metallic) or other special technique (such as stencil creation) is subject to additional charge and will be detailed in your order quote.

ALLERGIES: While I do take custom design orders, I do not currently offer items that are gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, nut-free or egg-free. My kitchen produces baked goods that use flour, butter, sugar, eggs, milk, peanuts and/or tree nuts. I do my best not to cross-contaminate work surfaces, however I cannot guarantee that any order is free of these allergens.

BREAKAGE/DAMAGE: Once cookies are picked up, I cannot be held responsible for any damage or breakage of cookies. The best way to transport your cookies is to keep them packaged in the provided bakery box (includes any necessary padding) until ready to serve. Keep one hand under the box when moving to keep the box stable. Please do not keep your cookies in a hot car or in extreme climates. Never store cookies in the refrigerator.

CANCELLATIONS: Once your order is finalized I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee, depending on where I am in the baking process. A minimum 25% processing fee will be charged to any cancelled order, regardless of how far in advance. Order cancellation within 2 weeks before the scheduled pickup date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Order cancellation within 1 week before the scheduled pickup date will incur between a 50%-100% charge of the total order, depending on how far along I am in the production process.

COLORS: Icing is colored by hand, and it is not always possible to get a perfect match to your inspiration. I will do my best, but slight variation may be possible.

FLAVORS: Bespoke Bakery uses a delicious, secret recipe for vanilla-almond cookies and icing. All cookies produced at this time are of this flavor. I will occasional offer gingerbread for holiday pre-orders.

FREEZING: Cookies can be frozen if you have leftovers that you will not eat within the recommended 2 weeks! To do so, stack the bagged cookies in an air-tight, freezer-safe container. Place the sealed container in the freezer. When ready to enjoy, remove the still sealed container from the freezer and place it, unopened, on the counter to thaw at room temperature for several hours. Never store in the fridge, as condensation can ruin the icing. When thawed, open your container and enjoy!

FOOD HANDLERS TRAINING: I maintain a current Food Handlers Training certificate of completion.

LOCATION: Bespoke Bakery is located near Coit and Arapaho in Far North Dallas. Orders must be picked up from my home, unless otherwise arranged for a holiday pre-order or corporate order.

MINIMUM QUANTITY: The minimum order quantity for decorated sugar cookies is 2 dozen cookies. The minimum order quantity for paint-your-own cookie sets is 6 sets. Please see my pricing guidelines here for details.

ORDER FINALIZATION: Your order is not considered final until the following steps are complete: 1. Submit the Order Inquiry Form 2. Receive and review quote from Bespoke Bakery 3. Respond in writing via email confirming that you accept the quote terms and are officially placing your order. Once these steps are complete I will begin work on your order. You will receive an invoice from me electronically that should be paid before pickup.

PACKAGING: Cookies are individually heat-sealed in cellophane bags at no additional cost to maintain freshness, unless otherwise requested. Sealed cookies stay fresh at room temperature for 2+ weeks. Boxes with crinkle paper are available for an additional charge per box. Bows and tags can be added to cellophane bags for an additional charge per bag. Please let me know when you submit your order request if you have any specific packaging needs.

PAYMENT METHOD: I currently use Square invoicing for all payments. In some cases, check payments are acceptable. Please let me know in advance.

PRICING: I reserve the right to adjust my pricing on occasion as the market rate of raw goods fluctuates. Please see my pricing guidelines here for details.

RUSH FEE: If your order request form is submitted with less than 2 weeks notice and my schedule can accommodate your order, a rush fee of $10/dozen will be applied. Rush orders can only be accommodated if I have availability on the calendar.

SHAPES: Bespoke Bakery has hundreds of cookie cutter shapes on-hand, and a 3D printer to create new shapes! I can shape a cookie into almost anything you can dream up.

SHELF LIFE: Heat-sealed cookies typically stay fresh for up to 2 weeks. If you plan to keep them longer, please follow the instructions above to freeze your cookies.

SHIPPING: Texas Cottage Food law prohibits me from shipping cookies at this time.

TEXAS COTTAGE FOOD LAW: Bespoke Bakery is held to the Texas Cottage Food Law for all operations. Please click here to review this law.

TIMING: Creating custom cookies takes time, and I am the only employee. A minimum of 2 weeks (14 days) is required for orders to be quoted at standard pricing. The ability to accept an order depends on the availability of my calendar. During popular event seasons such as holidays and graduations, it is advisable to book 4+ weeks in advance to ensure I have availability to complete your order.
