Frequently Asked Questions

How much are your cookies?

Each cookie order is unique, but I provide pricing guidelines here. The exact cost of an order depends on size, colors, details, etc. My prices have increased as of January 2025 to reflect current market value of materials and my capabilities.

How far in advance should I order?

Creating custom cookies takes time, and Bespoke Bakery is a one woman show. A minimum of 2 weeks is required for orders to be quoted at standard pricing. My ability to accept an order depends on the availability of my calendar. It is advisable to book 1-2 months or more in advance to ensure I have availability to complete your order, especially during holiday and graduation seasons!

What if my order date is less than 2 weeks away?

If your order request form is submitted with less than 2 weeks notice and my schedule can accommodate your order, a rush fee of $10/dozen will be applied. Rush orders can only be accommodated if I have availability on my calendar.

Do you have a minimum quantity?

Yes - please see my pricing guidelines here for details. For typical cookies by the dozen, I require 2 dozen minimum.

What flavor are your cookies?

I use a secret family vanilla-almond sugar cookie recipe. All cookies produced at this time are this flavor. I will occasionally offer gingerbread for holiday pre-orders.

What allergens are in your cookies and kitchen?

While I do take custom design orders, I do not currently offer items that are gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, nut-free or egg-free. My kitchen produces baked goods that use flour, butter, sugar, eggs, milk, peanuts and/or tree nuts. I do my best not to cross-contaminate work surfaces, however I cannot guarantee that any order is free of these allergens. All cookie bags include allergen alert stickers to ensure the recipients are aware of ingredients.

How are your cookies packaged?

My default packaging is to heat seal cookies individually in cellophane bags, then package orders in a box. For an additional fee, I can add ribbons, tags, boxes, crinkle paper, etc. Please make me aware of any special packaging  requests when you request your order.

How should I store my cookies once I pick them up?

Once cookies are picked up, I cannot be held responsible for any damage or breakage of cookies. The best way to transport your cookies is to keep them packaged in the provided bakery box (includes any necessary padding) until ready to serve. Keep one hand under the box when moving to keep the box stable. Please do not keep your cookies in a hot car or in extreme climates.

How long are your cookies good to eat?

Heat-sealed cookies typically stay fresh for up to 2 weeks. If you plan to keep them longer, please follow the instructions to freeze your cookies.

Can I freeze your cookies?

Cookies can be frozen if you have leftovers that you will not eat within the recommended 2 weeks! To do so, stack the bagged cookies in an air-tight, freezer-safe container. Place the sealed container in the freezer. When ready to enjoy, remove the still sealed container from the freezer and place it, unopened, on the counter to thaw at room temperature for several hours. Never that in the fridge, as condensation can ruin the icing. When thawed, open your container and enjoy!

Where are you located?

I am a home based baker and operate out of my kitchen in Far North Dallas (near Coit and Arapaho). All custom cookie orders must be picked up from my home. For certain holiday pre-orders, I do offer very limited delivery (information will be available on holiday order forms). My exact address will be provided to you prior to your scheduled pickup date.

Do you ship?

Bespoke Bakery operates under Texas Cottage Food Law, which unfortunately prohibits me from shipping.

What payment methods do you accept?

I currently utilize Square to invoice clients. Square accepts all major credit cards. I can also accept checks for corporate orders.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Once your order is finalized I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee, depending on where I am in the baking process. A minimum 25% processing fee will be charged to any cancelled order, regardless of how far in advance. Order cancellation within 2 weeks before the scheduled pickup date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Order cancellation within 1 week before the scheduled pickup date will incur between a 50%-100% charge of the total order, depending on how far along I am in the production process.
